The Vancouver Watersheds Alliance has announced a number of workshops focusing on water quality in urban and suburban areas.
On a weekly basis, starting Monday, March 7, and concluding Wednesday, April 27, the organization will discuss topics including home gardening, chemical alternatives, creek and wetland restoration, and other issues.
All eight workshops will be held at the Vancouver Community Library at 907 C St. from 6 to 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to reserve their spot by calling 360-852-9189 or visiting vancouverwatersheds.org.
The meetings are organized in partnership with the Clark Conservation District, Department of Ecology, Clark County Environmental Services and the Vancouver Community Library.
