Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Feb. 20.

This week, we celebrate Clark County’s five state champions.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

JOSH BOTTELBERGHE, COLUMBIA RIVER SWIMMING: Bottelberghe won the 3A 100 breaststroke state title in an All-American automatic time of 56.20 seconds.

MAKSIM DOLBININ, HERITAGE SWIMMING: Dolbinin earned the 50 freestyle state title by a razor’s edge at the 4A state meet.

MARK KIM, CAMAS SWIMMING: Kim won the 200 freestyle state title and the 500 freestyle state title with ease at the 4A state meet.

CAMERON LOOS, HOCKINSON WRESTLING: Loos scored a second-round pin while down 6-0 to win the 220-pound Class 2A state title.

ETHAN ROTONDO, UNION WRESTLING: Rotondo finished a 40-0 junior season by winning the 106-pound Class 4A state title.
