The Pacific FC Cheetahs won the championship of their division of the Washington Cup youth soccer tournament.

A 1-0 win on Sunday over a team from Emerald City FC of Seattle earned the Clark County club the title in the Silver Division of the boys under-17 age group. Chanse Gilbert scored the goal and goalkeeper Colin Marshall made eight saves including a difficult stop on a late free kick.

The Cheetahs were one of five Clark County teams playing on the final weekend of the Washington Cup, a U.S. Club Soccer-sanctioned tournament staged by the Puget Sound Premier League. The semifinals and finals were played in Ravensdale.

A team from FC Salmon Creek reached the Gold Division final for the boys under-15 age group, losing to a team from Central Washington. Two Pacific FC teams and one FC Salmon Creek team lost on Saturday in the semifinals.

In the boys under-16 Silver Division semifinals on Saturday, Shoreline Sports FC downed the Pacific FC Revolution 2-1 and Mount Rainier beat FC Salmon Creek 1-0. For the Revolution, James Matey drew and converted a second-half penalty kick after Shoreline scored twice in the first half.
