A fast start carried the host Falcons past the Plainsmen and into the Class 4A boys basketball state round-of-16.
Woodinville outscored Evergreen 26-13 in the first quarter and led by 20 at halftime of the bi-district elimination game.
The Plainsmen finished the season 15-9. The Falcons take a 19-4 mark into the state regionals.
Greg Washington scored 22 points in the second half for Evergreen, and finished with a game-high 29. Tyrus Hosley added 18 points and Johyn Hansberry 14 for the Plainsmen.
Jesse Davis led the Falcons with 25 points and made a pair of 3-pointers in the first quarter to help Woodinville start fast. Tony Miller scored 23 points for the Falcons.
The start of the game was pushed back by an hour because Evergreen was delayed by snarled traffic on Interstate 5 because of police activity near Lakewood.
