Week 10 winter sports prep athlete of the week nominees

Weekly vote, sponsored by Athletes Corner, continues through Thursday

Here are the nominees for The Columbian winter sports prep athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending Feb. 13.

Voting will continue until 8 p.m. Thursday, with results announced in Friday’s edition of The Columbian.

RAEANN ALLEN, WASHOUGAL GIRLS BASKETBALL: Allen played a pair of all-around games, averaging 13 points, five rebounds, seven steals and four assists in two wins.

MAKSIM DOLBININ, HERITAGE BOYS SWIMMING: Dolbinin won the 50 free and 100 free in the 4A district meet, setting a meet record in the 100 free.

BRYCE MULDER, WOODLAND BOYS BASKETBALL: Mulder averaged 14 points and nine rebounds in two wins, including a first-round win in the district tournament.

JAMES ROGERS, BATTLE GROUND BOYS WRESTLING: The freshman earned a 4A regional title with a 6-5 win over senior Sean Van Earwage of Todd Beamer in the final.

KYLEE TJENSVOLD, RIDGEFIELD GYMNASTICS: Tjensvold placed third in the floor exercise, fifth in the bars and beam and fifth in the all-around at the 3A regional meet.
