Greg Bernash scored 14 of his 18 points in the first half as the Falcons got off to a hot start en route to a win in the 3A bi-district tournament.
Prairie will face Lincoln of Tacoma at 5:30 p.m. Monday at Rogers-Puyallup in loser-out game.
Palmer Goecke, who also had 18 points, hit a three 3-pointers in the first half as Prairie led 18-4 after one quarter and 45-17 at the half.
“We did a good job on defense,” Prairie coach Kyle Brooks said. “We have a goal to hold our opponent to single digits in a quarter in the first half, as we did that in the first quarter.”
The Falcons hit 13 3-pointers in the game, which opened up the inside game.
“The guys felt like we just didn’t get on track offensively against Foss,” Brooks said. “We found our groove tonight, and hopefully we can keep that going on Monday.”
