Camas — During a three-week drive late last year, members of the Camas High School National Honor Society collected 617 pairs of socks. The socks were donated to Transitional Youth and Braking Cycles, two organizations in Portland which work with at-risk youth. The students collected socks by leaving a box in their advisor’s classroom, and let others know about the drive with posters and announcements. The National Honor Society officers are Corinne Bintz, president, Andrew Henson, vice president, Kylie Urbanek, treasurer, Bilal Manzer, historian, and Liana Mills, secretary.
