The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a late-night stabbing at a Sunday party in rural Clark County.

The sheriff’s office said a 911 caller reported, shortly after midnight, that someone stabbed his friend at a large outdoor gathering in the area of the Tarbell Trail head, about six miles southeast of Yacolt.

The caller drove the victim to a hospital, where he was rushed into emergency surgery for multiple stab wounds, the sheriff’s office said, adding the victim was expected to recover.

Investigators asked anyone who was at the party and hasn’t already talked to detectives to call Det. Scott Kirgiss at 360-397-2028.
