Girls basketball: Prairie 69, Fort Vancouver 24

The 3A Greater St. Helens League champs shot 70 percent from the field in the first half and committed just three turnovers in the win over visiting Fort Vancouver.

Dejah Gobert and Cassidy Gardner each scored 11 points to lead the Falcons (17-3, 6-0) in scoring. Mallory Williams had eight rebounds, and Cherita Daugherty had five assists.

Devyn Tilley lead Fort in scoring with 10 points.

Prairie next hosts a 3A district tournament game at 7 p.m. Thursday against the No. 5 South Puget Sound League team.
