Kate Kraft scored 15 points on her best shooting game of the season, and Kate Kolbe came off the bench to score 14 points and pull down eight rebounds.
The Chieftains outrebounded Kelso 40-24.
Columbia River (11-9, 4-2) opens the 3A district tournament at Central Kitsap on Thursday.
