Girls basketball: R.A. Long 60, Ridgefield 43

Eastyn Reeves scored 28 points to lead the way for R.A. Long, which helped its postseason chances by beating the visiting Spudders.

Reeves scored 11 if her points in the decisive second quarter as R.A. Long outscored Ridgefield 21-10 to build a 16-point lead. In the game between teams fighting for the fifth-place pigtail playoff position, R.A. Long (8-10, 3-7) leapfrogged Ridgefield (8-11, 3-8) in the Class 2A Greater St. Helens League.

Sarah Jenkins led Ridgefield with 13 points.
