Brody Seter had 25 points and nine rebounds to lead the host Wildcats to the Class 1A Trico League win.

La Center (11-8, 7-4) turned up its defense in the second half to pull away. The win means the Wildcats have a shot at second place in the Trico League when they host Kalama to cap the regular season.

“We came out and played much better defense in the second half,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said.

Seton Catholic (1-18) scored 20 points in the second quarter but added only 16 points after halftime.
