Public facilities board seeks applicants

Vancouver – The city of Vancouver is seeking applicants for two vacancies on the Vancouver Public Facilities District Board of Directors.

Applications are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 30 at the city manager’s office.

The board typically meets twice a year. The term expires on Nov. 30, 2020.

The board is authorized to acquire, construct, own, remodel, maintain, equip, reequip, repair, finance and operate one or more regional centers, such as the Hilton Vancouver Washington hotel and convention center. The Hilton project is leased by the Downtown Redevelopment Authority from the public facilities board, which owns the property, according to city information.
