Clark men fall at Lower Columbia, 78-67

Clark women lose to Peninsula

The Clark College men’s basketball team had a five-game win streak snapped, falling 78-67 at Lower Columbia in Longview on Friday, wrapping up the non-region portion of its schedule.

Michael Hill and Luke Osborn each scored 16 points for Clark (7-3), with Skyview grad Jordan Berni adding 14 points, and Surmon Neal 12 points and six rebounds.

For Lower  Columbia (9-4), Skyview grad Marcus Lord and Battle Ground grad Devin Johnson each scored 12 points. Johnson also had eight rebounds.

Clark hosts Mt. Hood on Wednesday to open its NWAC South region schedule.

WOMEN: PENINSULA 74, AT CLARK 69 — Prairie High grad Emily Peters scored 21 points and had nine rebounds, but the Penguins lost their third game in a row.

Union High grad Abby Forsyth added 12 points, as did Kendyl Cone for Clark (3-8), which opens NWAC South region play on Wednesday, hosting Mt. Hood.
