Literacy advocates donate money to schools

Lincoln — Altrusa International of Clark County is helping out three local schools through the Altrusa Family Literacy Initiative, thanks to a grant from the Altrusa International Foundation. Sunset Elementary School is receiving $675, Washington Elementary School is getting $500 and Image Elementary School will receive $1,250 from the foundation. The money will be used to host Family Literacy Night events.
