Darien Chase scored 15 points, and Makai Anderson and Trocy Pacheco each had nine for the Thunder.
Newberg, held to 18 points in the first half, scored 40 in the second half to secure the victory.
Mountain View will take on North Salem at 3 p.m. Thursday.
