Vancouver – The Chabad Jewish Center will hold its annual menorah lighting and Hanukkah celebration Monday in Esther Short Park. A “message menorah” made out of interlocking cardboard pieces will let the Jewish community write messages of friendship, peace and good wishes.
The communitywide event starts 5:30 p.m. at the park. Flamebuoyant Productions will put on a fire dance and juggling performance. Afterwards, there will be festivities at the Hilton Vancouver Washington including live music, sandwiches and traditional Jewish food such as kugel, matzo ball soup and latkes.
