Girls basketball: Elma 54, King’s Way Christian 49

MacKenzie Ellertson had 21 points and six assists as the Knights made Elma work for its win.

King’s Way (2-1) held Elma (2-4) without a field goal in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Eagles 12-7.

Knights coach Anthony Roberts praised the defense of freshman Bethany Hutchen, who held Elma’s leading scorer Peyton Elliott to three points.
