Fort Vancouver used a big fourth quarter to rally past the Wildcats in a non-league game at La Center.
“We had a picture-perfect first quarter,” La Center coach Jeremy Ecklund said as the Wildcats held a 17-6 advantage. “Our defense was running smoothly, holding them to six points. Then, I don’t know if we got tired or what … We had a six-point lead going into the fourth quarter, but they came out and drilled us right away.”
Fort outscored La Center 24-10 in the final period.
Jameel Morton led the Trappers with 26 points. Miracle Alford-Lewis added 13 and James Husband Jr., had 12. Jake Wise led the Wildcats with 25 points.
