Some Clark County schools are delayed after snow mixed with freezing rain fell this morning.

The National Weather Service had a weather advisory in place until 8 a.m. today, warning that the freezing rain and snow, though that has since turned to rain. The agency warned that the precipitation could lead to snow and ice accumulation in parts of the region.

Schools in the Washougal School District are among those that are on a two hour delay schedule today. For a full list of school delays and closures, click here.

The precipitation left a thin layer of slush on the roads in some areas, though the morning commute does not appear to be moving any slower than usual.

C-Tran had its morning buses on snow route, but resumed normal operations just after 8 a.m., today. The Ridgefield and LaCenter Connector services, which were previously canceled, will resume at noon.
