Clark County — Clark County is looking for residents interested in serving on the Parks Advisory Board. The seven-member volunteer board advises the county council and county staff on acquisition, planning and development of parks. Board members also keep in touch with other organizations, associations and residents regarding the county parks system.

Specifically, the county is seeking someone to fill the remainder of a term that ends Dec. 31, 2017, with the possibility of reappointment. The board meets from noon to 2:30 p.m. the second Friday of the month, typically at Luke Jensen Sports Park. Board members cannot be county employees or be involved with parks construction or planning.

Applicants should submit a resume and letter of interest to Jennifer Clark, Board of County Councilors, P.O. Box 5000, Vancouver 98666. Applicants also may submit information by email to jennifer.clark@clark.wa.gov or fax to (360) 397-6058. Application deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 13.
