Evergreen School Board elects new officers

Vancouver – The Evergreen Public Schools Board of Directors elected its president and vice president for the 2016-2017 school year.

Victoria Bradford was elected president, and Todd Yuzuriha was elected vice president.

Bradford, who represents District 3, is the longest serving member of the board, having been elected in 1999. She was previously the vice president and replaces Julie Bocanegra as president.

District 4 representative Yuzuriha will move into the vice president role. He’s been on the board since 2008.

District 2 representative Rob Perkins will be the Federal Relations Network representative on legislative matters, while members Michael Parsons and Bocanegra will be liaisons to other boards and committees.
