• Clark County Public Service Center is seeking volunteers to staff the information desk in the main lobby downtown, for three-to four-hour shifts, weekday mornings or afternoons.

• Clark County Public Health Harm Reduction Center seeks volunteers to be trained on all aspects of the syringe exchange program.

• Get Bold Events will hold its 2017 Resolution Run on Sunday, Jan. 8. Volunteer help is needed before, during, and after the race.

• Meals on Wheels People seeks substitute drivers to cover routes for drivers on vacation. Teams are welcome. The average time commitment is one and a half to two hours.

• Salvation Army needs more bell ringers to help collect funds for people in need. Shifts are two hours long.

• West Columbia Gorge Humane Society is seeking volunteers to help with cat and dog care, ranging from kennel cleaning to socialization. Volunteers are also needed to help with marketing, fundraising, event planning and animal foster care.
