Vancouver Mall — For the last 20 years, Bloodworks Northwest and HP Inc. have worked together to save lives through blood drives held at HP’s Vancouver location. On Dec. 7, the two companies celebrated that partnership with another blood drive, the 93rd held in that time. During that 20-year span, HP staffers have donated more than 2,000 units of blood, which translates to more than 6,000 local lives saved, according to a release from Bloodworks. “Our partnership with HP Inc. is extremely valuable to the work we do daily to maintain a sufficient supply for the 90 hospitals served by Bloodworks in the Northwest,” Andrea Chiller, regional director of donor services in Oregon and Southwest Washington for Bloodworks, said in a release from the organization. “We rely on the generosity of donors and volunteers to fulfill our mission, and thanks to partners like HP Inc., we’re able to ensure there’s an adequate supply of blood at local hospitals and medical centers.”
