A Hazel Dell man was arrested Sunday after deputies say he threatened to shoot his family members with a loaded rifle.
Deputies with the Clark County Sheriff’s Office responded to the disturbance at 2523 N.E. 80th St. just before 11 a.m., Sgt. Craig Randall said.
Erik Winegardner, 37, got into an argument with his family in which he broke the television, threw the dog through an open door and pulled out a loaded rifle, threatening to shoot everyone if they didn’t leave, Randall said.
The dog was not injured, Randall said.
His wife, child and two brothers left the house, Randall said. Winegardner then went through an open window to get onto the roof to yell at them some more, Randall said.
