Battle Ground could not overcome poor shooting, turnovers and 40 points from Parkrose’s Isaac Bonton.

Battle Ground (3-1) clawed within seven in the fourth quarter. But Bonton, a senior headed to Montana State, scored 17 in the final quarter to put the visiting Tigers away.

Daelon Floyd had 17 points and 12 rebounds for Battle Ground, which had 24 turnovers and shot 30 percent from the field.

“You’re not going to win a lot of games with that many turnovers,” Battle Ground coach Wes Armstrong said.
