Boys basketball: Heritage 60, Washougal 50

The Timberwolves used a balanced scoring attack to get an early lead and hold off a late rally from the Panthers.

LaTrell Johnson had 16 points and eight rebounds to lead Heritage.

Three other Timberwolves also scored in double figures: Josh Patton (12), Jander Cline (11) and Keoni Peneueta (10).

Collin Prangley led Washougal with 29 points.

Heritage had a double-digit lead for much of the game. Washougal, though, cut the deficit to three points before Heritage responded in the final minutes of the fourth quarter.
