Boys basketball: Union 76, Kentwood 69

Cameron Cranston scored 11 of his game-high 28 points in the fourth quarter as the Titans knocked off Kentwood on the road Saturday.

Kentwood was ranked No. 2 in the state in Class 4A by the Tacoma News Tribune. The Titans are ranked No. 4.

“He did a good job of attacking the rim and getting to the hole,” Union coach Blake Conley said of Cranston.

Union (5-0) started slow with a six-point first quarter, but outscored Kentwood 43-30 in the second and third quarters. The Titans never let their lead get below six points late in the game.
