Girls basketball: Columbia River 49, Evergreen 34

Kate Kraft had 19 points and 10 steals, sparking a River defense that forced 33 turnovers in the game.

After the Chieftains took a 28-15 lead into half, Evergreen rallied to within one in third quarter.

But then Katie Kolbe scored eight of her 14 points to help River stretch the lead back to 39-29 by the end of third. Kolbe added eight rebounds.
