Three times, Union needed a clutch shot to go in.

Three times the shot did.

Camerson Cranston’s 12-footer at the buzzer gave the Titans an overtime win in Longview.

Just getting to overtime required more shooting under pressure.

The Titans trailed 64-59 with 25 seconds left. Tyler Combs hit a 3-pointer to pull Union within two.

Mark Morris then hit one of two free throws to take a 65-62 lead. Union’s Zack Reznick hit a long 3-pointer in the final seconds of regulation to force overtime.

Cranston led all scorers with 34 points for Union (4-0), which is ranked No. 3 in the Seattle Times 4A statewide rankings.

“I think it’s great to have an early test like this,” Union coach Blake Conley said. “Mark Morris is a good team and that’s a hard place to play.”

WIll Burghardt scored 29 points and Tyler Berger added 20 for Mark Morris (1-1).
