Boys basketball: La Center 65, Washougal 60

Jake Wise and Matt Baher each had a double-double for La Center, helping to offset a big scoring night from Washougal’s Collin Prangley.

Wise finished with 26 points and 15 rebounds and Baher had 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Prangley lit up the stat book with 29 points for the Panthers.

La Center led by 11 in the third quarter but Washougal went on a 9-0 run to make it close.

Hunter Ecklund added 14 points for La Center. Avery Seter had eight points and a team-high five assists.

“Jake Wise was the difference tonight,” Washougal coach Malcolm Estes said. “He dominated inside.”
