A Vancouver man was arrested after, police say, he pointed a loaded shotgun at a neighbor whose vehicle blocked traffic at his apartment complex.
The incident started when Christoffer Sepelak, 37, arrived at his home in the Copperstone VanMall Apartments, 4701 N.E. 72nd Ave., at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said. Sepelak became upset with other tenants who were in the process of moving out and had blocked a driveway and walkway with a vehicle, Kapp said.
An argument started, Sepelak got a loaded shotgun from his apartment, came back and confronted one of the neighbors he had argued with, pointing the gun directly at the person’s head from one or two feet away, Kapp said. The neighbor, whose name was not released, grabbed the barrel of the shotgun and, with the help of several other people, wrestled the gun away from Sepelak, Kapp said.
Officers arrested Sepelak on suspicion of first-degree assault, she said.
