Felida — July was a busy month for the Vancouver Community Concert Band. The volunteer band performed two big gigs, one at Felida’s July Fourth Celebration and another at the Vintage Base Ball game at Fort Vancouver National Site, where they played era-appropriate tunes. The band’s August schedule includes another show at the Fort, this one to celebrate 100 years of the National Parks Service on Saturday. For more information about the community volunteer band, including upcoming shows and how to join, go to www.vccb.us.
