Vancouver police are investigating an armed robbery Monday afternoon at a pharmacy near PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in the North Garrison Heights neighborhood.

An employee at Mill Plain Medical & Pharmacy, 8614 E. Mill Plain Blvd., called 911 to report the robbery just before 3 p.m., Vancouver Police Department spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.

Two men entered the pharmacy, displayed a gun and took some drugs, Kapp said.

They fled in a vehicle, but officers were still sorting through reports to identify a suspect vehicle, Kapp said Monday evening.

Officers canvassed the area, but were unable to find the men, or a cream or silver, older-model Lexus the men may have been driving, she said.
