This is your brain; this is your brain on video screens

Human beings have a hard time taking their eyes off computer and video screens. There’s apparently something instinctive about that.

But do you worry that your smartphone is making you stupid?

Do you ever leave your device behind, or can you not imagine living without it?

Are you irritated with a partner who snubs you in favor of the phone — what’s now known as “phubbing”?

Are you concerned about your kids’ attention spans?

Ever get the sense that force of habit has made the servant the master?

The Columbian wants to hear from readers who have lived the life-v.-phone conflict and figured out how to coexist peacefully with smart technology that wants to eat your brain.
