Vancouver – The Vancouver Salary Review Commission signed the ordinance to give incremental raises of 4 percent for the mayor and the city councilors this week. The raises will be in place for the next two years.
The commission took an earlier vote to approve the raises, which was a departure from its earlier decision to hike the mayor’s salary 117 percent and the city councilors’ salary by about 50 percent.
