The man injured in a rollover crash Monday afternoon in Battle Ground was treated and released from the hospital.

Lawrence J. Chaney, of Portland, was driving a 2006 Acura MDX west on Main Street shortly after 2 p.m. when he experienced a medical episode, Battle Ground Police Department spokeswoman Bonnie Gilberti said.

Chaney’s vehicle collided with a vehicle in front of him, causing a chain reaction crash that involved two other westbound vehicles, Gilberti said.

The Acura rolled, but Chaney was not injured in the crash, Gilberti said. He was, however, taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for the medical emergency, Gilberti said. Hospital staff said he was treated and released.

Gilberti said that there were no citations issued following the crash investigation.
