Police say a Kelso woman suspected of intoxicated driving caused a head-on crash south of Amboy early Monday morning.

The Washington State Patrol responded to the scene of a two-vehicle crash on state Highway 503 about three miles south of Amboy just before 4 a.m.

Brittany Bodine, 26, was driving a 1992 Toyota Paseo north on the highway when she lost control on a curve and crossed the center line, striking a southbound 2006 Hyundai Sonata, according to State Patrol.

Bodine, the driver of the Sonata, 29-year-old Amboy resident Raymond Ferrell, and Ferrell’s passenger, 22-year-old Amboy resident Ryan Roberts, were taken to Legacy Salmon Creek Medical Center, where they were treated and released.

State Patrol said that Bodine faces a charge of driving under the influence of intoxicants.
