Health, wellness fair set at Luepke Center

Vancouver – A free health and wellness fair geared toward those 50 and up is coming to the Luepke Senior Center on Aug. 18. The fair is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 1009 E. McLoughlin Blvd., behind the Marshall Community Center.

The fair is hosted by Vancouver Parks and Recreation’s 50 and Better Program along with A Caring Closet, which provides used durable medical equipment to Clark County seniors.

There will be free walker and wheelchair repair, a blood pressure clinic, health presentations and booths as well as live music and raffle prizes. Free espresso drinks will be offered in the morning and ice cream sundaes in the afternoon. People will get another raffle ticket for each piece of durable medical equipment donated to A Caring Closet.
