As part of the Commission on Aging’s Speaker Series, Sherri Adams will talk about what to consider when seniors are contemplating moving.

“Many seniors would prefer to continue living in their own home or aging in place. Sometimes, circumstances work against those preferences,” the commission said in a news release.

Adams is a senior real estate specialist and has been a real estate agent in Washington and Oregon since 1977. She’ll discuss why a senior might want to move elsewhere, home adaptations, health care and other needs, financial considerations, legal issues and the process of selling a home.

The talk is 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Public Service Center, 1300 Franklin St., Vancouver.
