Salvation Army to host family night, safety fair

The Salvation Army in Vancouver will have its second Family Fun Night & Safety Fair on Saturday.

There will be a bicycle obstacle course, relays, a 33-foot waterslide, face painting, games and snacks. Additionally, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Clark Public Utilities, American Medical Response, the Vancouver Police Department and the Police Activities League will be available to talk about safety and disaster preparedness. An outdoor showing of “Kung Fu Panda 3” starts at 9 p.m.

The festivities start 4 p.m. Saturday at Salvation Army headquarters, 1500 N.E. 112th Ave. in Vancouver.
