Resident beautifies neighborhood by planting flowers

Lincoln — Richard Hanley wants his neighborhood to look a bit prettier, and for the last 20 years, he spends time each summer planting flowers down the parking strip on Northwest 41st Street and around the corner onto Columbia Street. Hanley works at Woodland High School and buys his flowers each year from the FFA plant sale.
