The Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the body recovered from the Columbia River on Monday morning as that of missing Camas woman Carla Temple.

The cause of death for the 62-year-old was pending, the medical examiner’s office said.

Temple was last seen at her Camas home at about 10 p.m. Thursday, according to Camas Police Department spokeswoman Debrah Riedl. Temple was reported missing Friday morning, and a search began for her that included ground, boat and air patrols.

On Monday morning, someone spotted a body along the river’s shoreline with binoculars, sending police to a private dock in the 2000 block of Southeast 12th Avenue, where they found Temple’s body, Camas police said.
