Police officers in Vancouver and Battle Ground are increasing intoxicated driving enforcement this Saturday.
Officers out patrolling, which will include drug recognition experts, will be looking out for drunk, drugged and high drivers in an effort to keep the roads safer.
The enforcement coincides with the first Saturday of the Clark County Fair, Vancouver police spokeswoman Kim Kapp said.
The Vancouver Police Department encourages those choosing to consume intoxicants to have a designated driver or to use a car service for transportation.
Law enforcement agencies in Southwest Washington are able to have extra officers conduct DUI enforcement due to a grant from the Washington Traffic Safety Commission.
