Vancouver – Divine Consign has given more than $100,000 in cash, furniture and clothing donations to local charities in the last year.
The nonprofit supports charities through consigned furniture and clothing sales in its downtown Vancouver stores.
Donations went to 50 charities throughout the community, supporting newborns to seniors, Divine Consign said in a news release.
“It is wonderful to have such great support from the community. We are pleased that we have the capacity to support a large number of organizations that provide critically needed services,” the board’s president, Carol Ann Smith, said. “These funds enrich our community making it a happier, healthier place to live.”
Divine Consign focuses its support on the arts, education and human services. Go to www.divineconsignfurniture.org to learn more about its stores, or visit the shops at 904 Main St., Vancouver.
