Camas – The next entry in Camas’ Concerts in the Park series takes place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Crown Park, 15th Avenue and Everett Street.
Ty Curtis and his band draw from a rich blues tradition and recently performed at the Portland Waterfront Blues Festival. Earlier this year, Curtis released his sixth album.
J’s, a local novelty food concessionaire will be available, on-site, and picnics are always welcome.
“Our community loves blues music and I believe that Ty will give them quite a show,” Krista Bashaw, special events coordinator for the city, said in a release.
The final concert in the series takes place Aug. 11, when Ben Rice performs.
