Grist Mill site of First Thursday museum talk

CLARK COUNTY — The Cedar Creek Grist Mill will be the site of August’s First Thursday event, sponsored by the Clark County Historical Museum.

The program begins at 7 p.m. at the historic structure, 43907 N.E. Grist Mill Road, Woodland.

The topic will be the mill, its history and its restoration. Built in 1876, it served not only as a mill but as a social center, blacksmith shop, private residence and fish ladder.

Admission for the talk is free, but space and parking are limited.
