The Lower Columbia Fish Recovery Board is taking applications for projects that will reduce stormwater impacts on wetlands, streams and other aquatic habitat by restoring watersheds.

Proposals need to address:

• Restoring sustainable, natural watershed processes while reducing stormwater impacts on water quality and aquatic habitats.

• Promoting community awareness and reduction efforts of stormwater runoff.

• Using available resources, and expanding efforts to address stormwater impacts and management in Clark County.

• Advancing regional stormwater, watershed and salmon recovery, as well as Total Maximum Daily Load implementation plans.

Eligible projects must be in Clark County near Gee Creek; Lake River and Vancouver Lake; Salmon Creek; Burnt Bridge Creek; Lacamas Creek; the Little Washougal River; or the Washougal River.

The North Fork and East Fork of the Lewis River watersheds are not included.

Applications are due May 31.
