Elise Filuk of Camas girls golf was voted The Columbian’s high school spring sports athlete of the week, sponsored by Athletes Corner, for the week ending April 8.
Filuk collected 50 percent of the 1,575 votes cast by fans to beat out Parker Boyd of Battle Ground softball, who had 32 percent.
Filuk shot a even-par 35 at Camas Meadows, leading the Papermakers to a record-setting win over rival Union.
The other nominees were Mitch Lines of Hockinson baseball, Christian Thyron of Prairie boys soccer and Savanna Craig of Mountain View girls track and field.
