HP employees collect, donate basic household items to Second Step Housing

Hough — HP’s Vancouver employees collected and donated a supply of basic household items for Second Step Housing as part of their International Women’s Day event. For the last few years the Women Igniting Success and Excellence group has invited Second Step Housing to its kickoff event, which starts the two-week collection period, where staff at HP donate various household items including sheets, toilet paper, laundry detergent, towels, shampoo, soap and toothbrushes. These items are then given to Second Step Housing to fill their move-in baskets, which are laundry baskets filled with common household items that many residents cannot afford.
